Captain Nathan Diaz - Big Bay Fishing Charters in St. Petersburg, Florida

Captain Nathan Diaz considers himself “lucky and fortunate” to have been born and raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida and call Tampa Bay his home.

Capt. Nate started fishing at an early age with his father, as they explored the offshore and nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico as well as the numerous flats and inshore waters of Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg.

From an early age, Capt. Nate knew that we wanted to create a career for himself, doing what he loved most and sharing his passion for fishing the waters surrounding St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tampa Bay.

Whether fishing with locals or visitors to the area, Capt. Nate brings a wealth of local knowledge and enthusiasm to each charter he fishes. And he loves to work with the “little ones” making for safe, family-friendly fishing charters.

We had an AWESOME day out fishing with Big Bay fishing charters! Nate was an awesome captain and fishermen. He was very patient with our 3 year old son who was hesitant about fish to start but by the end of our day he was scooping out bate fish to feed the pelicans and touching the fish we caught. We had an amazing day and can’t wait to get back out on Nates charter again! Great family activity for all ages!
