What We Catch on our Tampa Bay & St. Petersburg Inshore Fishing Charters
The abundant nearshore and inshore waters surrounding St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tampa Bay are home to many of the most sought after inshore game species. Seasonally we target tarpon and sharks, while we have a year-round variety of snook, redfish, seatrout and many more!
Below, you’ll find some of the common gamefish found in our local waters. And of course if you’d like to join us for an inshore fishing adventure – we’d love to have you aboard!
Jacks
Jack Crevalle are the bruisers of the inshore waters and flats. A great challenge on light tackle!
Cobia
Cobia are an occasional possibility in and around Tampa Bay are and make for great table fare!
Redfish
"Reds" are one of the the most sought after gamefish in the southeast and will give you a fight to remember!
Sheepshead
Sheepshead are found in and around the mangrove shorelines and other structure and make for a tasty meal.
Kingfish
Kingfish are targeted seasonally in the nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico are wonderful smoked!
Tarpon
"Bow to the King"! The "Silver King" that is! A bucket-list fish that you will never forget encountering. Sensational!
Shark
Summer time is about the sharks and we target them all over Tampa Bay and the surrounding flats!
Snapper
Mangrove snapper or "Mango" will keep the kids and adults alike entertained AND they're excellent fish for the filet table!
Snook
Snook are one of our most popular inshore species and range in size from the youngsters to massive adults!
Seatrout
Seatrout are a blast on light-tackle gear and readily take both artificial and live baits. They can be plentiful as well.
Mackeral
Schools of Spanish Mackeral can be found throughout Tampa Bay when they're running. An excellent meal!
Tripletail
We target tripletail around floating structure and buoys and channel markers. Great on light tackle and the grill!
